I called the County Council School Admissions team today to find out if Katie had been accepted to the Primary School we wanted her to go to. Apparently I should have got a letter last week so they are sending out another one. However, I was told I could check out the result of the application online. The headmistress at the school had already said to me that Katie was on the list to go to the school in question but I wanted to know officially. I have just checked and it says she has been accepted to the school we wanted her to go to. The fact her brother already goes there and it is over the road from our house means it would be highly suspect if she hadn't been accepted! No need to worry now though as she has been allocated a place and in September this year she will start at Primary School in the Reception class. My little girl is growing up!
