Katie has 2 hospital appointments today. Yes that's right! 2 appointments in one day! The first appointment was at 10:45am for an ultrasound to check the status of her kidneys. I am pleased to report she co-operated well and we were in and out in 5 minutes. Once we were called in that is! To make it easier for her, I tell her she is going to see the magic television that lets her see inside her tummy to check on her kidneys. She seems to like that idea. From todays scan I can tell you all that her right kidney is still healthy and working as it should. Her left kidney is still a mass of cysts and not a lot of kidney tissue. No cysts have grown or moved. She is due to see her pediatrician later today so he should have the full report bu then. She is chilling out at the moment watching 'Monsters, Inc' while I get ready to go again. |
